A TYPICAL DAY AT MOMMA'S LOVE CHILDCARE
Our day begins upon arrival of the first child and ends upon departure of the last child each day.
Children will be encouraged to participate in all activities.
7:00 am Self-selected activities- such as books, puzzles, blocks. I integrate teaching of Numbers, Shapes, Letters as we look at the activities.
7:30 am Story time
8:00 am Group time – Sing interactive songs such as “Wheels on the Bus”, “The ABC’s” and “Eensy, Weensy Spider”. Discuss the weather, the day of the week, the month and the year. Review shapes, colors and numbers.
8:30 am Get ready for snack
8:45 am Nutritious morning snack
9:15 am Arts & Crafts- Some crafts will be based on theme for the month
9:45 am Get ready to go outside
10:00 am Outside time (weather permitting) or free play.
10:45 am Wash hands & get ready for lunch
11:00 am Lunch- We follow the FDA guidelines for nutritious meals.
11:45 am Get ready for nap/Rest time
12:00 pm Nap/Rest time
2:00 pm Wake up, get ready for snack
2:30 pm Nutritious afternoon snack
3:00 pm Group time- Sing interactive songs and read a story
3:30 pm Get ready to go outside
3:45 pm Outside time (weather permitting)
4:30 pm Story time
5:00 pm Get ready to go home. Self-selected activities
Toys are picked up and put away before children leave---teaches responsibility.
